Chief Engineer - Enterprise Risk
Job Purpose
Drive the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework across agencies, sectors, and departments to strengthen governance and risk mitigation. Deliver periodic major risk reporting and ERM audit plans with timely follow-through. Elevate organization-wide risk awareness and records integrity. Sustain advanced ERM expertise to enhance capability and delivery.
Roles and Responsibilities StrategyReviews the Enterprise Risk Management framework, including policies, procedures, and action plans, and facilitate implementation with agencies, sectors, and departments.
Provides input for preparing and submitting the periodic major-risk report to the Director General, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the RTA.
Prepare and implement ERM audit plans aligned with relevant policies, including inspection and audit, and submit periodic reports.
Pursue and maintain advanced professional expertise in enterprise risk to strengthen organizational capability.
OperationsReview and periodically assess risks for all activities and roles across agencies, sectors, and departments; provide feedback on mitigation plans and follow up on implementation.
Ensure maintenance of risk records for all agencies, sectors, and departments to generate required risk reports.
Raise risk-management awareness among employees and concerned parties on an ongoing basis.
Periodically review and support audits of agencies, sectors, and departments regarding operational risks.
Support the identification of risks related to strategies (including specialized strategies), operations, and projects (including critical projects).
Execute directives and ad-hoc tasks from ERM leadership to ensure timely delivery of the enterprise risk agenda.
Product / Process ImprovementStrengthen ERM framework implementation through coordinated processes and continuous enhancement with agencies, sectors, and departments.
Enhance risk-awareness programs and measurement to improve adoption and reporting quality.
Improve risk-record practices and reporting mechanisms to increase data quality and timeliness.
Evolve operational-risk reduction standards using insights from periodic reviews and audit
QualificationsBachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Engineering
3+ years in case of Master’s degree(5+ years in case of Bachelor’s degree)
