What You’ll Do
- Lead day‑to‑day warehouse and logistics operations— inbound, outbound, and inventory— ensuring safety, compliance, and service excellence across the site.
- Coach and develop a diverse operations team, including supervisors and frontline associates, building capability and a culture of accountability and continuous development.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and deliver measurable operational gains.
- Manage operating and capital budgets with a focus on cost efficiency, identifying opportunities to improve ROI and support long‑term financial performance.
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Procurement, and Customer Service to align operations with broader business objectives and ensure seamless delivery outcomes.
- Manage third‑party logistics (3PL) providers and external partners, ensuring service delivery meets agreed SLAs and operational standards.
- Leverage Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP tools, and data reporting to drive operational visibility, decision‑making, and performance tracking.
- Relevant industry experience: Approximately 8 years of experience leading warehouse and logistics operations, ideally in a multinational or regional distribution environment.
- Leadership experience: A proven track record of leading large, diverse operations teams—including supervisors and frontline staff—through periods of growth and change.
- Role‑specific experience: Demonstrated success managing 3PL relationships, inventory governance and compliance within a regulated, fast‑paced environment.
- Technical skills: Proficiency with WMS and ERP systems and digital productivity tools, comfort working with data and reporting platforms to inform decisions.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field. An MBA, CSCP, or equivalent professional certification is a strong advantage.
- Drives results: Sets ambitious operational targets, takes full ownership of site performance, and consistently delivers outcomes through urgency, accountability, and a focus on what matters most.
- Manages complexity: Navigates large‑scale operational challenges, balances competing priorities, and applies sound judgment to resolve issues and drive decisions with confidence.
- Builds effective teams: Attracts, develops, and retains talent, creating an inclusive high‑performance environment where every associate can contribute and grow.
- Collaborates: Works across functions and with external partners to achieve shared outcomes, leveraging relationships to overcome obstacles and keep operations moving.
- Strategic mindset: Connects day‑to‑day operational decisions to Ingram Micro’s broader goals and continuously identifies ways to improve, innovate, and build for the future.
