Director of Legal Affairs Department, Dubai, UAE
Prestigious Government Entity
We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Legal Affairs Department to join a prestigious government entity in Dubai.
Requirements- Minimum 15 years of legal experience.
- At least 10 years in a senior managerial/leadership role.
- Extensive experience in legal advisory, governance, regulatory compliance, contracts, and risk management.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of UAE laws, regulations, and government procedures.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- UAE experience is highly preferred.
- Lead and manage the Legal Affairs Department.
- Provide strategic legal advice to executive management.
- Oversee legal compliance, governance, and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Review and negotiate complex contracts and agreements.
- Represent the organization on legal matters and coordinate with external legal counsel when required.
