Overview
We are seeking a Head of Planning to lead planning, scheduling, progress monitoring and EOT activities across a portfolio of construction projects. The role will oversee the Planning Department, manage master schedules and recovery plans, provide strategic reporting to senior management, and serve as the primary liaison with clients and consultants on all planning‑related matters.
Responsibilities- Lead planning and scheduling across multiple concurrent projects.
- Develop and manage master schedules, resource‑loaded plans and recovery strategies.
- Identify schedule risks, implement corrective actions and drive performance improvement.
- Analyze delays, contractual entitlements and commercial impacts of project delays.
- Prepare and present strategic reporting to executive leadership, clients and consultants.
- Establish governance frameworks and develop planning teams within a contracting environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in construction planning and scheduling, including leadership of large‑scale, multi‑project portfolios.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Expertise in critical‑path analysis, progress monitoring, recovery planning, and EOT claim management.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, delay analysis, and schedule‑related commercial and contractual matters.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and reporting skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership, clients and consultants.
- Analytical, reporting and problem‑solving capabilities to support decision‑making.
