Project Manager – Capital Projects

Responsible for end‑to‑end execution of assigned capital and refurbishment projects across operating assets. The role ensures safe delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical, quality, sustainability, and regulatory standards while minimizing disruption to live asset operations. As the primary day‑to‑day owner of project delivery, the Project Manager coordinates consultants, contractors, internal stakeholders, and authorities to translate approved capital plans into successfully completed assets.

The role protects asset integrity, enhances customer experience, and ensures readiness for operational handover.

• Develop detailed project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans aligned with scope and governance.
• Support feasibility assessments, technical studies, and pre‑project planning activities.
• Coordinate consultant and contractor appointments in line with procurement and governance frameworks.
• Secure all permits, authority approvals, and prerequisites before mobilization.

• Manage day‑to‑day execution of capital and refurbishment projects from mobilization through completion.
• Oversee consultants and contractors to ensure adherence to scope drawings, specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Monitor site activities through regular inspections, progress meetings, and performance reviews.
• Manage interfaces between construction activities and live mall operations to minimize disruption.

• Track project costs, commitments, and forecasts against approved budgets.
• Administer change control processes, including variation assessments, recommendations, and approvals.
• Identify risks to cost or schedule early and implement mitigation actions in coordination with the Senior Manager.
• Support value engineering initiatives to balance cost, quality, and asset performance.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
• 8–12 years of experience delivering capital or refurbishment projects.
• Experience with in retail, mixed‑use, commercial real estate, or operational asset environments.
• Strong contractor, consultant, stakeholder, and project governance management experience.
• Proven ability to manage projects in live operational facilities.
