Private PA & House Manager – Dubai

A European UHNW family based in Dubai is seeking an exceptional Private PA & House Manager to oversee the smooth day-to-day management of the family's life and private household. This role will be based in their family office working alongside a great team.

The successful Private PA & House Manager must speak fluent Italian. The family are open to Italian speaking candidates who do not have UAE relocation and will offer relocation support.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Private & House Manager to secure a long-term role with a family who value their staff and respect their personal time outside of office hours.

This is a pivotal role, ensuring every aspect of the family's household, staff, properties and lifestyle runs seamlessly. Working closely with the PA, principals, Chief of Staff and wider household team, the Private PA & House Manager will implement systems, oversee operations and maintain the exceptional standards expected within an UHNW environment.

Role: Private PA & House Manager

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: AED 30,000–35,000 per month (DOE) – flexibility for the right candidate

Benefits: discretionary annual bonus; medical insurance; annual air ticket allowance; visa and relocation support

Hours: Monday to Friday | 9:00am–6:00pm (Office based with regular support at the family residence)

Contract: Permanent

Travel: some international travel required, split with the other PA within the family office

Start Date: by September 2026

Private PA & House Manager Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the family's private residence
  • Acting as the main point of contact between the principals and household staff
  • Recruiting, onboarding, training and managing household employees including nannies, chefs, drivers, butlers and housekeepers
  • Creating, implementing and auditing SOPs, service standards and household manuals
  • Leading regular staff training sessions and ensuring consistent service standards
  • Managing household rotas, staffing levels and performance reviews
  • Coordinating household staff during international travel
  • Travelling with the family when required to ensure seamless household operations internationally
  • Managing all maintenance, repairs and preventative servicing
  • Overseeing renovation projects and contractor management
  • Managing household inventories and purchasing
  • Maintaining records of repairs, warranties and household documentation
  • Coordinating external suppliers including landscaping, pool maintenance, pest control and specialist contractors
  • Ordering household furniture, equipment and supplies
Financial Responsibilities
  • Working alongside the finance team to oversee household budgets
  • Managing petty cash and household expenditure
  • Processing household payments and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Monitoring spending and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
  • Managing payroll for household staff
Family & Lifestyle Support
  • Managing family calendars and appointments
  • Supporting school administration and children's schedules
  • Assisting with insurance renewals, vehicle administration and important documentation
  • Personal shopping and ad hoc lifestyle requests
  • Coordinating guest arrivals and preparing the residence for visitors
  • Creating welcome packs and ensuring exceptional guest experiences
Travel & Events
  • Organising complex international travel itineraries, booking flights, accommodation, visas and ground transportation
  • Managing loyalty programmes and travel logistics
  • Planning family celebrations, dinners and private events
  • Overseeing events from start to finish alongside household staff and suppliers
Private PA & House Manager Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Family Manager, House Manager or Estate Manager within a UHNW private household
  • Fluent English and Italian are essential
  • European passport holder
  • Experience recruiting, managing and training household staff
  • Proven experience writing and implementing SOPs and operational manuals
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
  • Comfortable working between the family office and private residence
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required
