About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager - Projects to join Dubai Holding Community Management. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

Project Execution and Control:

• End-to-End Management:
  Manage the full lifecycle of defined, mid-sized projects (e.g., targeted energy audits, minor BMS/BAS system upgrades, common area refurbishments) from initiation to close-out
• On-Site Supervision:
  Conduct regular site inspections to monitor project progress, verify contractor adherence to technical drawings and schedules, and ensure all work complies with established HSE and QA/QC protocols
• Documentation & Handover:
  Ensure all project documentation is accurately captured and organized, including updated as-built drawings, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new equipment, maintenance manuals, and final inspection reports
• Issue & Risk Logging:
  Maintain a centralized log of all project issues, focusing on immediate operational risks and technical deviations, and escalating potential delays or scope creep to the Senior Manager

Stakeholder Communication and Coordination:

• Serve as the key operational liaison between the project team, the Facilities Management department, and external contractors, ensuring minimal disruption to community residents during project activities
• Facilitate weekly project status and coordination meetings, ensuring clear communication of progress, pending decisions, and next steps to all internal and external parties
• Coordinate with procurement and finance teams to process purchase orders (POs), contract variations, and invoices related to ongoing projects

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Facilities Management
• Project Management certification (e.g., CAPM) highly desirable
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in site supervision, technical contract management, and small to mid-sized construction or facility upgrade projects
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and specifications, and managing project schedules
• Experienced in QA/QC inspection tools and procedures
• Strong knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations applicable to construction and maintenance environments
