The Marketing Director will report directly into the Chief Executive Officer, both defining and driving the global marketing strategy across all channels ensuring seamless execution and a consistent customer experience across all touchpoints. The role will lead Marketing, CRM & Clienteling, Events, PR & Communications, Community Engagement and Customer Insights for the Level Shoes brand. You will be responsible for driving brand growth, customer acquisition, retention and engagement across digital, physical and emerging channels on a global scale.
The role will need to balance global brand consistency with local market execution, working closely with digital marketing, e-commerce and retail heads, brand partnerships teams as well as external agencies where required. The role will partner closely with both the Director of Digital Marketing and the Director of Brand & Creative on the 360-marketing calendar and brand positioning.
- Global Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute a global omnichannel marketing strategy aligned with Level Shoes brand and business growth objectives
- Own the strategic international 360 marketing and customer roadmap for Level Shoes, its partners and our Own Brands
- Have the strategic planning and influencing ability to bridge all departments across one over-arching marketing vision
- Thoughtfully select key partners, influencers, brand ambassadors and event locations that align with our brand ethos
- Act as a key brand ambassador for Level Shoes and its partners
- Omnichannel Execution
- Ensure strong alignment between online and in-store campaigns to deliver a seamless customer journey.
- Develop and oversee go-to-market strategies for new launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand activations.
- Drive customer acquisition and retention through data-led omnichannel campaigns across retail, ecommerce, and digital platforms.
- Partner with ecommerce growth team to optimize traffic, conversion, and repeat purchase through targeted campaigns.
- Translate customer insights, data, and market trends into actionable marketing plans that drive top-line growth.
- Think Global, Act Local
- Ensure marketing roadmap has over-arching brand storytelling, with localized execution which is filtered down across all function
- Partner closely with the Brand & Creative team to ensure campaigns and content are localized but aligned with overall tone of voice
