Role Summary
The Senior Social Media Executive will be responsible for strengthening the cinema brand’s digital presence, driving audience engagement, and increasing brand awareness through a creative, data‑driven social media strategy. This role focuses on delivering compelling content, leading impactful social campaigns, and using performance insights to continuously optimise digital initiatives.
Role ProfilePlay a key role in promoting movie releases, special events, and cinema promotions while building a vibrant and engaged online community.
Develop and execute original, engaging content across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), and Tik Tok to support movie launches and cinema-related activities.
Manage the social media content calendar in collaboration with the social media agency, ensuring timely and relevant posts aligned with marketing campaigns and film release schedules.
Work closely with internal creative teams and external agencies to deliver high-quality visuals, graphics, and video content.
Plan and execute social media campaigns for movie premieres, special screenings, and promotional events to drive ticket sales and audience engagement.
Leverage both organic and paid social media strategies, in coordination with the digital marketing team, to maximise reach and grow audiences.
Oversee community management by guiding the agency on responding to comments, messages, and reviews, ensuring a positive and consistent brand voice, particularly for non‑standard queries.
Monitor, analyse, and report on social media performance metrics such as engagement rates, follower growth, reach, and impressions to measure campaign effectiveness and inform future strategies.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing, preferably within the entertainment, leisure, or hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of branding, digital marketing principles, and emerging online trends.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines effectively.
