River Garden Senior Services, an award winning not-for-profit senior care community, is currently seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to provide fundraising support to our Development staff in the River Garden Foundation. This is an amazing opportunity for someone with a desire to use their skills in an agency where excellence is the norm.

The Development Assistant is responsible for administrative operations of the Foundation, which includes gift processing, data entry, coordinating mailings, assisting with special events and board meetings, and support for donor cultivation and stewardship.

• Organizational skills to maintain donor files and mailing lists.
• Attention to detail with good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to accurately complete data entry and gift processing in fundraising database.
• One or more years of experience in Development/Fundraising position or related experience.
• Prior experience with Blackbaud “Raiser's Edge” fundraising software or its equivalent preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree with two years non-profit development support experience or high school diploma plus two to three years of office support experience preferred.
