Position: Commis 2 - Commissary (Main Kitchen)

EXPECTATIONS FROM

THE ROLE

Prepare ingredients for cooking: portioning, chopping, storing food. Wash, peel, weigh, mix ingredients. Cook food according to recipes and quality standards. Prepare cold foods. Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers. Test foods for doneness. Monitor food quality. Set‑up & break‑down workstation. Serve food in proper portions. Wash & disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, equipment. Check and ensure correct temperature of appliances and food.

Follow company safety, report maintenance, complete safety training, maintain appearance, maintain confidentiality, support team, ensure quality, stand/sit/walk, reach overhead & below knees, move, lift, carry, push, pull, place objects ≤25 lb, perform other reasonable duties.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
  • Education:

    High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Work Experience:

    At least 1 year related experience.
  • Supervisory

    Experience:

    No supervisory experience.
  • License or Certification:
    None.
