Business Development Executive – Retail

Location: Dubai, UAE

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Executive to support our retail growth strategy across the UAE. The ideal candidate can work independently to identify, evaluate, and secure new retail opportunities while building strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders in the local market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new retail business opportunities across various sectors in the UAE.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on retail trends, competition, and potential growth areas.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, landlords, distributors, and other partners.
  • Generate leads, schedule meetings, and present company products/services to potential clients.
  • Support negotiations and assist in closing deals to meet business development targets.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and reports for internal review and client submissions.
  • Work closely with internal teams (operations, marketing, sales) to ensure smooth onboarding and execution of new business.
  • Represent the company at meetings, site visits, and networking events.
Requirements
  • UAE Driving License with a clean driving record and strong navigation knowledge of the region.
  • Proven experience in the UAE retail market, preferably in business development, sales, or account management.
  • Strong understanding of the local retail landscape, brands, malls, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, confident, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Fluency in English;
    Arabic is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in business development or retail-related roles in the UAE.
  • Experience working with retail chains, FMCG companies, distributors, or mall management teams.
