Regional Sales Manager
Howden Middle East, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to consistently deliver profitable growth by providing our customers with valued solutions and support.
Responsible for Howden business in the defined territory/market, developing relevant business and sales plans in line with Howden strategic initiatives (DDA, LTSA, cross‑selling and upselling), budgets, product, and market forecasts, supporting key customers, and developing new ones. Provide the business with insight into customer/market opportunities, data, competitive intelligence, and trends. Develop, lead, and execute the Howden external sales strategy, striving to be more customer‑focused, innovative, proactive, and responsive.
Create and develop a collaborative network between Howden MEA and the main market players (end users, EPCs, local service centres, distributors, and agents), utilizing relationships, knowledge of the marketplace and Howden’s products and services. Aligned with Howden strategy to grow Howden, A Chart Industries company business in the assigned territory for all sectors with a focus on PCOG, Steel, Power and cement.

What Will You Do?- Country Strategic Sales and Growth plan
:
Develop strategies to increase business levels in the assigned territory/Product. - Business Development
:
Establish, maintain, and manage business relationships with end users, customers, EPCs, Howden Agents, and trading houses in the corresponding territory/market so that the Howden brand is recognized. - Sales and funnel management
:
Proactively coordinate customer RFQs to ensure they are addressed with correct and on‑time proposals. Proactively manage the funnel of outstanding proposals and the sales process of turning them into orders. - Hand‑over to order/contract team
:
Ensure contract documentation for required contracts is processed correctly for handover to the Product/Regional Unit, project manager and/or contracts department. - Sales reporting and CRM
:
Prepare and submit reports on business activities in the area. Liaise with Product/Regional Units /Sales and update opportunity status in CRM. - Training and support
:
Assist in the training and development of local/agent personnel to support equipment and services sales. Deliver/support customer seminars and training as required to maintain good customer relationships. - EHS and Howden policies
:
Adhere to all Howden Group policies, values, procedures, and business ethics codes. Fully comply with Howden EHS policies, rules, regulations, and legislation. - Take ownership of agents and distributors within the assigned territory/market

Maintain close working relationships with agents/distributors and customers to drive business.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technical Degree
Your Professional Experience Should Be…- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technical Degree with rotating equipment’s experience.
- 10 years of relevant business background including sales, marketing, product management, product development and/or field service in Rotating Machinery.
- An intimate understanding of the market and customer base
- Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with customers, reps and internal customers.
- High moral and ethical standards; integrity is continuously apparent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM, ERP & Salesforce etc. Comfortable navigating the internet.
- Language:
English and Arabic (will be a big plus point) - Experience in managing distribution and sales channels.
- Strong selling and customer/market development skills
- Strong negotiation and customer issue resolution skills
- Strong interpersonal skills – active listener, clear and concise communicator (both oral and written); proven collaboration skills.
