The UAE Key Account Manager (KAM) will lead key accounts, ensuring sales targets are achieved and developing channel and customer marketing plans. This role is essential to Opella’s future growth.
Responsibilities & Key Results- Drive sales in non-visited pharmacies via the CHC portfolio and achieve market share growth.
- Realize annual JBP targets (sell-out, distribution, New Launch) in responsible regions and branches.
- Develop an annual strategic business plan and manage stock levels through sell-in/sell-out planning.
- Collaborate with Sales, TRM, and Marketing to lead the category, ensuring a competitive advantage.
- Contribute to the IBP‑TM process by integrating competitive information into sales forecasting and S&OP meetings.
- Lead activations and campaigns, building strong, sustainable relationships with customers and branches.
- Take overall launch plan responsibility for all phases of the ‘New Launch Excellence Plan’ in responsible branches.
- Analyze market developments and competition to identify growth opportunities and customer-specific tools.
- Manage risk with customers in unplanned situations and meet MSL (Must Stock List) targets.
- Track product expiry dates and take necessary actions before deadlines, ensuring compliant stock management.
- Improve category knowledge of wholesaler personnel through regular brand/category presentations.
- Report on branch-based SISO tracking.
- Sell-in, Sell-out, and Market Share realization.
- Non-visited pharmacies’ sales, distribution, and market share realization.
- Non-Promo brand sell-out and market share performance.
- Realization of annual JBP targets in branches under responsibility.
- Realizing distribution targets.
- +3 years of experience in a similar FMCG/FMCG consumer health role.
- BA in Pharmacy or a business-related degree.
- Experience in senior stakeholder management.
- Growth mindset with intellectual curiosity and strong learning agility.
- Initiative, strong leadership, and a focus on business outcomes.
- English – full proficiency written and spoken.
- French, Turkish, or Arabic is a plus.
