Inside Sales Engineer – Security Systems
Inside Sales Engineer is a key role reporting to the Inside Sales Leader. You will be based in Dubai and support the UAE customers by identifying the requirements from Field Operations, telephone/email interaction with customers, and offering standard and specific solutions and services to retain customers and maximize opportunities.
Collaborate with Outside Sales, Field Operations, Customer representatives, and technical services resources to ensure proposals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, adhering to JCI’s standards and specifications.
How You Will Do ItKey responsibilities include:
- Being the key point of contact for clients to answer queries and provide basic technical advice and information on new product introductions and modifications.
- Handling security service system inquiries, following up with customers, building and maintaining good relationships at all levels, and coordinating new and repeat sales to ensure 100 % customer satisfaction and account retention.
- Creating proposals through CPQ / pricing tools / service selection tool.
- Partnering with local area team for onsite asset counts/site details, reviewing and understanding PPM Reports and MRF for labor and material jobs, providing guidance on pricing, and identifying upsell opportunities.
- Reviewing proposals prior to customer submission and approving order receipts.
- Outbidding regular calling/email for follow up and securing the LPO.
- Capturing and updating all actions in SFDC, and calling/emailing customers with outstanding or soon to expire proposals.
- Contributing to sales effectiveness by identifying short‑term and long‑range issues, providing relevant information and recommendations, and implementing directives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in sales/estimation in security systems and building technology industry.
- Track record of over‑achieving sales goals.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Word; quick quotation preparation.
- Technical proficiency in designing and estimating CCTV, ACS, gate barrier, ANPR and physical security systems.
- Ability to influence account decision makers at key levels.
- Experience working with a CRM database;
Salesforce experience is a plus. - Rapid knowledge acquisition of Johnson Controls product lines (Tier 1‑3, Axis, Pelco, Hanwha, etc.).
