Sales Officer

About the Role

The Sales Officer for the masterbatch industry will drive sales and build strong relationships with clients in the plastics and polymer sector. This role includes identifying potential customers, understanding their material requirements, recommending suitable masterbatch solutions, and achieving sales targets. The officer will coordinate with production and technical teams to ensure timely delivery, product quality, and customer satisfaction. Regular market analysis and sales reporting will also be expected.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the polymer/plastics sector.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate masterbatch products.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and technical teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 4 to 6 years working experience in Masterbatch industry is preferred.
• Prior experience in sales of chemicals, polymers, or masterbatch preferred.

• Understanding of masterbatch products, polymers, and plastics industry.
• Awareness of market trends, competitor products, and customer needs.
• Basic knowledge of production processes and quality standards.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and provide solutions.
• Sales planning, forecasting, and reporting skills.
• Relationship management and networking skills.
• Problem-solving and coordination abilities.
