The Key Account Manager plays a crucial role in sustaining and enhancing a company's key business relationships. - Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with key clients.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and client satisfaction.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of company solutions according to client needs.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify and grow opportunities within territory.
- Compile and analyze data to identify trends and forecast revenue with key accounts.
- Prepare regular reports on account status, sales forecasts, and client feedback.
- Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal team members.
- Develop new business with existing clients and identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets.
- Liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience.
- Stay informed on industry trends, clients' businesses, and technology advancements.
- Attend trade shows or industry conferences to maintain competitive awareness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field.
- Proven work experience as a Key Account Manager or similar role.
- Strong account management skills including negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders.
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
