The Sales Agent – Oil & Gas Division is responsible for promoting, selling, and managing the supply of piping materials and related industrial products to clients in the oil & gas, petrochemical, power, EPC, and industrial sectors. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, handling RFQs, preparing techno‑commercial offers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining long‑term client relationships while coordinating internally with procurement, logistics, and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development
  • Promote and sell pipes, flanges, fittings, valves, strainers, instrumentation items, gaskets, bolting, and related oil & gas materials
  • Identify and develop new clients including EPC contractors, end users, traders, and project owners
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business
  • Conduct client meetings, technical discussions, and site visits when required
  • Achieve assigned sales targets, margins, and growth objectives
  • Receive and review RFQs from clients
  • Coordinate with technical, procurement, and sourcing teams to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Prepare and submit competitive techno‑commercial quotations
  • Follow up on quotations and negotiate pricing, delivery, and commercial terms
  • Ensure quotations comply with client requirements, standards, and deadlines
Order Management & Coordination
  • Convert quotations into confirmed sales orders
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and finance teams for smooth order execution
  • Monitor order status, deliveries, documentation, and invoicing
  • Support resolution of any commercial or delivery‑related issues
Market & Product Knowledge
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of ASTM, ASME, API, ANSI, DIN, and ISO standards
  • Track market trends, competitor pricing, and supplier capabilities
  • Provide feedback to management on market conditions and opportunities
Reporting & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate sales records, CRM updates, and pipeline reports
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and industry regulations
  • Support audits, prequalification documents, and vendor registrations when required
Products Scope
  • Carbon steel, stainless steel & alloy steel pipes and tubes
  • Flanges (WN, SO, BL, TH, Lap Joint – all pressure classes)
  • Valves (Gate, Globe, Check, Ball, Butterfly, Control Valves)
  • Instrumentation items (fittings, tubing, manifolds, gauges)
  • Strainers, gaskets, bolts & nuts
  • Related piping accessories and engineered packages
Qualifications & Experience Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred)
Experience
  • 2–5 years of sales experience in oil & gas piping materials or industrial supplies such as pipes, flanges, valves, etc.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in the UAE / GCC market
  • Experience dealing with EPCs, ADNOC group, ARAMCO, IOC, or similar clients is an advantage
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Good understanding of oil & gas materials and specifications
  • Ability to read and understand technical datasheets and BOQs
  • Strong follow‑up and relationship management skills
  • Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and results‑oriented
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, email, and CRM systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Language Requirements
  • English (mandatory – written and spoken)
  • Arabic (advantage)
Other Requirements
  • Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
