Overview

Our client is a leading provider of advanced technology solutions including a highly intelligent Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform, driving smarter energy management, device integration, and operational efficiency within the Smart Cities, Buildings, and Renewable Energy sectors.

They are looking for a Business Development/Account Executive with good experience in SaaS platforms to take charge of the full sales process and introduce their innovative solutions to new customers.

The company has a strong presence in both the UAE and KSA, experiencing rapid growth, bolstered by solid client relationships and a strong market reputation. With significant investments in new products aimed at expanding into additional channels, they need top-tier professionals to contribute to this success.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the CEO, CCO, and Sales Director to craft and execute the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for these new products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and target prospective clients within the Smart Cities, Smart Buildings, and Renewable Energy sectors.
  • Product Demonstrations & Sales: Present and demonstrate the SaaS platform’s features and benefits, aligning them with client needs.
  • Contract Negotiation & Deal Closure: Manage contract negotiations and drive successful deal closures to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Market Insights & Feedback: Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and competitors, providing valuable feedback to the product development teams.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
  • Collaborate with Marketing: Work alongside the marketing team to create effective sales materials for the IoT platform.
  • Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and conferences to promote solutions and generate leads.
  • Full Sales Cycle Management: Oversee all stages of the sales cycle, from lead generation to post-sale follow-ups.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the IoT, SaaS, or Smart Buildings particularly within the UAE or KSA markets.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Smart Cities, Home or Building Automation, IoT.
  • Consultative Sales Expertise: Proven success in consultative selling and educating clients on complex products and services.
  • CRM Proficiency: Solid experience in managing CRM systems and maintaining an organized sales pipeline.
  • Language

    Skills:

    Proficiency in both English and Arabic is preferred (based on the region).
