The Sales Team Lead plays a crucial role in driving sales success and customer satisfaction. This position ensures that the sales team is motivated and aligned with the company’s broader sales objectives. The Sales Team Lead is responsible for guiding daily sales operations, developing strategic sales initiatives, and ensuring a consistent world class customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of the continuous review and enhancement of sales strategies. Keep sales plans up to date to remain competitive, and adapt to shifting market trends and customer needs. Ensure the team is effectively executing strategies to achieve set targets.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities by targeting potential leads and growth sectors. Maintain a strategic approach to building the sales pipeline, ensuring the team consistently delivers strong results.
  • Lead the charge in setting high standards for customer service by establishing benchmarks for excellence. Regularly monitor and improve customer satisfaction metrics such as Net Promoter Score (NPS) to ensure top-tier service delivery.
  • Actively address customer questions and concerns, providing accurate and timely responses. Follow up on all inquiries to ensure a seamless customer journey and foster long-term relationships.
  • Provide shift supervision and on-the-floor leadership as needed, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Deliver training programs for sales specialists to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to excel. Take responsibility for mentoring and developing new and existing team members, ensuring they quickly integrate and contribute to team success.
  • Regularly assist and coach the sales specialists, offering guidance to help them exceed their individual and team sales goals. Consistently monitor performance and provide actionable feedback to drive improvement.
  • Efficiently manage the intake, distribution, and tracking of all sales leads. Ensure timely follow-up on all customer inquiries, ensuring that potential business opportunities are maximized.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team during closing phases to ensure a smooth and successful finalization of deals. Provide hands-on assistance to help the team overcome obstacles and secure sales.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of the stock list, ensuring visibility of current, incomplete, committed, and incoming inventory. Ensure the sales team is well-informed of stock availability to maximize sales opportunities.
Requirements for the Role
  • 5+ Years of sales experience within the cycling industry.
  • Demonstrated and proven sales results.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the market
  • Excellent customer care and focus; ability to assess customers’ needs and provide correct answers, troubleshooting, or method for a positive customer experience.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Drive to deliver and exceed expectations.
