- Technically introducing additive to the customer.
- Understanding customer area of application, their need, identifying the issues and providing technical support with additive for solving the issues.
- Coordinating with the sales manager for setting up sales/marketing strategy, plans of implementation.
- Coordinating for setting up business development, marketing budget and sales targets for the year.
- Introducing new concepts, new technology & new products to existing customer as well as new customers by visit/ mails / tele discussion.
- Multiplying successes of a commercialized product across the territory.
- Conducting trials at customer’s lab/ factory to show the USP of Companies products vis a vis competitor.
- Taking up customer’s project in lab, personal involvement in initiating the lab project.
- Contribution in completing the project on time. Effectively preparing or helping the lab team in preparing TSR and other material for submission to the customer and successfully explaining it to the customer. Converting the TSR into product approval.
- Working with the marketing department to plan and execute marketing, product positioning, road shows, trade shows in their assigned market, customer visits to the lab.
- Contribution in gathering market intelligence such as competition, latest trend in the market, customers need and wish list etc.
- Visiting customers with our distributors/ Sales Manager.
- Arranging samples and regular follow up with customers on feedback & evaluations.
- Evaluating competitor’s additive with Pat Add and give USP to agents/ customers during visit.
- Keeping the distributor up to date with the latest developments and success stories. Arranging training on regular basis.
- Providing effective marketing tools to agents for better positioning of Pat add in their respective areas of application.
- Trying to find more application with existing product portfolio by innovative thinking
- Coordinating and communicating with the global team.
- Contributing and cooperating with the marketing team for global product positioning, information sharing.
- Participating in local seminars, technical events organized by the local societies and presenting Company technology.
- Keeping him or herself up to date with the new and upcoming technology trends which can help the company to be prepared with the product/application information.
- Exploring new areas of application where Pat Add can be introduced by means of internet info/ Customer interaction etc.
- Preparing monthly reports on market visits, sample and project follow ups in coordination with the sales team.
