The Traditional Trade (TT) Supervisor is responsible for driving sales, distribution, visibility, and execution across the traditional trade channel. The role will manage a team of salesmen and ensure strong in-market execution across frozen, ambient, and chilled categories, including FPP products, cakes, and canned foods.
DescriptionKey Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the TT sales team to achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs.
- Ensure strong distribution and availability across assigned outlets.
- Monitor and improve product visibility, merchandising, and planogram compliance.
- Drive promotions, listings, and in-store activations.
- Track competitor activities and market trends.
- Manage stock levels, minimize expiries and damage.
- Ensure timely collection and adherence to company credit policies.
- Prepare daily/weekly performance reports and market feedback.
- Coordinate with supply chain to ensure product availability.
- Implement sales plans by defining distribution areas and routes.
- Set clear targets for sales representatives and distributors.
- Ensure understanding and execution of targets.
- Implement company financial and sales policies for new accounts.
- Monitor credit limits, ceilings, and collection processes.
- Develop annual and monthly sales plans with the Sales Manager
- Establish targets and action plans for key accounts
- Maintain effective stock levels across accounts
- Ensure proper display, visibility, and stock rotation
- Maintain professional company image and customer goodwill
- Provide regular updates on sales progress and market trends
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Monitor team performance and correct deviations
- Follow up on delivery and collection processes
- Optimize route planning and transportation costs
- Report customer and market feedback
- Monitor competitor activities and new product launches
- Ensure proper execution of promotions
- Prepare periodic sales and performance reports and share market feedback, sales coverage, and visit updates with the Sales Manager.
- Bachelor’s from a recognized university.
- 3-5 years of experience in an FMCG company.
