Group Sales Manager – Performance Marketing
We are seeking an experienced Group Sales Manager – Performance Marketing to drive commercial growth of our performance marketing division. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, closing major performance marketing deals, building and training the sales team, and partnering with internal departments to ensure strong client outcomes. This role combines sales leadership with a deep understanding of performance based digital marketing so you can sell with credibility and confidence.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership & Strategy
- Set the performance marketing sales strategy, goals, and revenue forecasts in collaboration with leadership.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of performance marketing sales professionals, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
- Establish sales processes, KPIs, tools, and reporting structures to track team performance and revenue metrics.
Client Acquisition & Revenue Growth
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing performance marketing deals.
- Identify new business opportunities, target key accounts, and expand relationships with existing clients.
- Develop compelling commercial proposals that demonstrate ROI and performance impact.
Performance Marketing Commercial Expertise
- Understand performance marketing channels (e.g. Meta, Tik Tok, Google Ads, You Tube) and relevant KPIs to credibly position and sell services.
- Translate complex performance data into clear business value that resonates with brand decision‑makers.
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with performance strategy, creative, influencer, and technical teams to ensure client proposals are operationally sound and deliverable.
- Partner with marketing to develop pitch collateral, case studies, and sales enablement materials.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long term relationships with senior client stakeholders across various industries and markets.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and guiding them toward performance driven investment decisions.
Sales Insights & Reporting
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to inform sales strategy.
- Provide regular reporting on pipeline, wins, losses, and actionable insights to executive leadership.
- 5+ years of sales experience in digital media, performance marketing, advertising, or related fields with a strong track record of quota attainment.
- Proven experience leading and scaling a sales team.
- Commercial understanding of performance marketing and digital media channels (e.g., paid search, paid social, programmatic).
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship building skills.
- Data driven mindset and ability to interpret performance metrics to influence sales outcomes.
- Experience selling to GCC brands and clients are preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, sales forecasting, and pipeline management systems.
- Understanding of performance reporting and analytics platforms (e.g. Looker Studio, Excel dashboards).
- Experience in upselling or cross selling digital marketing solutions.
