This is an exciting opportunity to lead the sales operations for a fast‑growing Chinese electric vehicle brand at dealership level in Dubai and to play a defining role in bringing a new generation of EV technology to one of the world's most dynamic automotive markets.
Based in Dubai and reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be the driving force behind showroom performance, customer experience, and sales team development — owning the numbers and the culture that delivers them.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Sales Leadership & Target Management:
You will own the dealership's sales performance end to end — setting and driving monthly, quarterly, and annual retail targets across new vehicle sales, financing, and accessories. You will analyse traffic patterns, conversion rates, and market trends to build sales strategies that consistently deliver results in the Dubai market. - Team Leadership & Development:
You will lead, coach, and inspire a showroom sales team — setting clear expectations, running regular performance reviews, and creating a culture of accountability, energy, and genuine customer focus. You will oversee structured training programmes that ensure every team member is fluent in the brand's EV proposition, sales process, and customer engagement standards. - Customer Experience in the EV space: the customer journey is everything. You will ensure that every interaction — from the first showroom visit through to delivery and beyond — reflects the brand's values and builds lasting loyalty. You will monitor NPS and customer feedback closely and use those insights to continuously raise the bar.
- Market & Product Knowledge:
You will stay ahead of the curve in the Dubai EV landscape — tracking competitor activity, monitoring pricing trends, and understanding the evolving regulatory and incentive environment for electric vehicles in the UAE. Your market intelligence will directly inform sales strategy and product positioning at dealership level. - Sales Activation & Events:
From test drive campaigns and product launches to targeted promotions and community events, you will plan and execute showroom-level initiatives that drive footfall, generate leads, and strengthen the brand's presence in the Dubai market. - Reporting & Performance:
Management:
You will deliver regular, high-quality performance updates to the General Manager and regional leadership, covering sales pipeline, conversion metrics, inventory status, and customer satisfaction data. You will be as comfortable in a data conversation as you are on the showroom floor. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
You will work closely with finance, marketing, after-sales, and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and a well‑run dealership operation.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a strong advantage.
- 5–10 years of progressive automotive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a sales management or team leadership role at dealership level.
- Experience with EV brands or a demonstrable passion for and knowledge of the electric vehicle market is highly desirable.
- A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a fast‑paced, competitive showroom environment.
- Strong people leadership skills.
- Deep familiarity with the Dubai automotive market, customer profile, and retail landscape.
- Arabic language skills, verbal and written, are a strong advantage in this role.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- A hands‑on leader who leads from the front and is as comfortable closing a deal as reviewing a pipeline report.
This is a role for someone who wants to build something, who understands that the showroom experience is where the brand story either comes alive or falls flat, and who has the commercial drive and people skills to make both happen.
