Sales Manager - Digital Solutions
Key Responsibilities
Identify, develop and pursue new business opportunities within the Mining & Mineral Processing industry across the Middle East & Northern Africa.
Build, manage and grow strong relationships with end users, EPCs, consultants and strategic partners.
Drive sales growth through disciplined opportunity management, forecasting, account planning and execution of regional sales strategies.
Work closely with Operations, Engineering and Product teams to shape value propositions, develop solutions and execute sales and marketing initiatives aligned with regional objectives.
Monitor market trends, customer requirements and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities for new solutions, services and enhancements.
Prepare and deliver high quality technical and commercial presentations that clearly articulate the value of ANDRITZ's automation and digital solutions to both technical and executive stakeholders.
Lead the preparation and presentation of technical and commercial proposals including pricing, scope definition and contract negotiations.
Maintain clear, professional communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the full business development and sales lifecycle.
Represent ANDRITZ at regional industry events, exhibitions and conferences to strengthen market presence and brand visibility.
Support the development of regional marketing materials and contribute to digital, online and print marketing initiatives.
Act as a role model for ANDRITZ values, ethics and core behaviors.
QualificationsMinimum of 5 years experience in automation, digitalization, optimization and/or simulation, ideally within the mining and mineral processing industry.
Proven background in technical sales with a demonstrated record of achievement, including opportunity forecasting, CRM usage, account planning and strategic sales execution.
Strong commercial mindset with excellent presentation, negotiation and relationship building skills.
Self‑driven, proactive and results oriented, able to work independently while collaborating effectively in cross‑functional teams.
Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial approach to developing business in emerging and established markets.
Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and technical writing skills.
Willingness to travel extensively within the Middle East & Northern Africa region (approximately 40‑50%).
Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Metallurgical, Automation, Electrical or a related discipline) preferred.
Established network within the mining and mineral processing industry in the Middle East & Africa.
Prior experience working with EPCs and large scale industrial projects in the region.
Experience working in multicultural, international business environments.
Proficiency in English is required;
Arabic language skills are an advantage.
