Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve company revenue targets and expand the customer base in the UAE market.
- Identify potential customers, industries, and market segments for targeting sales efforts.
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline, consistently prospecting and generating new business opportunities.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and pricing strategies.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored freight and forwarding solutions.
- Conduct sales presentations, negotiate contracts and pricing, and address customer inquiries and concerns.
- Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates on shipments, address issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and meet client expectations.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture, promoting teamwork and motivation within the team.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and competitive offerings, providing insights and recommendations for marketing and sales strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in sales within the freight and forwarding industry, specifically in the UAE market.
- Solid understanding of freight forwarding operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Established network of contacts and clients in the UAE freight and logistics industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
- Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
- Self‑motivated, result‑oriented, and able to work independently and under pressure.
- Valid UAE driver's license.
