Role Overview
Inside Sales Engineer is the key role reporting to Sales and Customer Service Manager – ME. The Inside Sales Engineer will be based in Dubai and support the customers by identifying their needs, offering standard, specific solutions/equipment, and services in order maximize opportunities and their success ratio.
Responsibilities- Support Foam Products; background in Foam Suppression sales/design is a must.
- Collaborate with outside sales, customer services, product management, and technical services resources to ensure proposals include technical solutions, address customer needs, adhering to Johnson Controls product standards, quality standards and specifications.
- Serve as the key point of contact for clients for answering queries, providing basic technical advice and information on new product introductions and modifications.
- Handle Special Hazards product inquiries, follow up with the customers, build and maintain good relationships through Johnson Controls routes to market at all levels, coordinate new and repeat sales to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and account retention.
- Collaborate with other regional sales colleagues to share market intelligence about product opportunities that will grow sales, submit orders and confer with Customer Service Representatives, and coordinate with outside sales, support demand planning/forecasting process and create special pricing requests (SPR) in conjunction with the Sales Team.
- Prepare frequent reports by collecting, analyzing, summarizing quotation information vs success ratio, and market application trends.
- Using the CRM environment keep constant and accurate all aspects of the customer relationship as regards to their commercial and contractual relationship; an accurate must be maintained at all times.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to sales effectiveness by identifying short‑term & long‑range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options & courses of action and implementing directives.
- Bachelor degree in electrical / mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales/estimation/design of Special Hazards products (Foam System, Gas Suppression Systems is also a plus).
- Tireless, results driven, strong sales drive and hunter mentality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Fluent language skills in English – written, reading, spoken.
