Overview
Our client is hiring a Senior Sales Manager to lead sales delivery for a flagship exhibition portfolio. This role will focus on driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and leading sales initiatives while ensuring strong collaboration across marketing and operations teams. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast‑paced, target‑driven environments within the exhibitions industry.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategy and plan aligned with overall show strategy.
- Sell new and existing exhibition space to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify new markets, exhibitors, and revenue opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to drive innovation.
- Manage sponsorship and non‑space revenue streams.
- Own relationships with key exhibitors, agents, and industry bodies.
- Develop and execute key account strategies to drive retention and growth.
- Ensure a high‑quality exhibitor experience from sale through delivery.
- Set sales targets, monitor progress, and drive performance across the team.
- Coach and support sales team members to exceed individual targets.
- Track daily sales activity and pipeline health using CRM tools.
- Work closely with Marketing and Operations to ensure successful show delivery.
- Support floor plan management and exhibitor allocation.
- Ensure sales promotions and campaigns are executed on time and at high quality.
- 7–8+ years of sales experience in exhibitions or B2B events.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing key accounts and sales agents.
- Confident negotiator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working in deadline‑driven, high‑energy environments.
- Results‑driven and commercially focused.
- Confident communicator and relationship builder.
- Proactive, organized, and self‑motivated.
- Resilient under pressure and adaptable to change.
- Team‑oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
