Business Development Executive – Events Job Overview
- The Business Development Executive – Events will be responsible for generating new business, strengthening client relationships, and driving revenue growth in the live events, exhibitions, brand activations, and experiential marketing space. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong industry connections, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating impactful event experiences.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in corporate events, brand activations, exhibitions, and government-led initiatives.
- Develop a strong pipeline of leads through market research, client meetings, networking, and referrals.
- Collaborate with the creative and production teams to build customized event proposals and solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies, corporate clients, and government entities.
- Create and deliver persuasive presentations and pitch documents tailored to client needs.
- Work closely with project and operations teams to ensure smooth transition from proposal to execution.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to build brand visibility and network with potential clients.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and status updates using CRM systems.
- Experience:3-5 years in business development or sales within the events or experiential marketing industry.
- Client Network:Existing relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and government departments in the UAE is a strong advantage.

Proven ability to identify opportunities, close deals, and manage long-term client relationships. - Communication:Excellent presentation and proposal-writing skills, with fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Industry Knowledge:Solid understanding of event production processes, budgets, timelines, and trends.
- Collaboration:Ability to work cross-functionally with design, content, technical, and operations teams.
- Revenue generated from new and repeat event clients.
- Number of successful proposals converted to live projects.
- Client acquisition and retention rates.
- Market reach and brand visibility in the events sector.
- Timely and effective collaboration with internal teams.
