Position: Business Development Executive (BDE)

Job Summary

The Business Development Executive drives revenue growth by securing new commercial accounts and expanding rental contracts with existing clients. This role focuses on identifying project pipelines, building relationships with project managers, and securing short-to-medium-term equipment rental agreements. You will spend significant time in the field targeting job sites, event venues, or industrial facilities to position our rental fleet as the preferred solution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate Leads:
    Identify and target new commercial, industrial, or construction projects in the region.
  • Conduct Field Sales:
    Visit active job sites, offices, and project managers to pitch rental services.
  • Secure Accounts:
    Negotiate and close high-volume or long-term master rental agreements (MRAs).
  • Maximize Utilization:
    Proactively push underutilized fleet assets to market to optimize rental revenue.
  • Prepare Quotes:
    Draft accurate rental rate proposals, mobilization fees, and damage waiver terms.
  • Manage Accounts:
    Maintain regular contact with current clients to anticipate their ongoing equipment needs.
  • Analyze Market:
    Monitor local competitor pricing, fleet availability, and shifting industry demands.
  • Coordinate Operations:
    Work with logistics and dispatch teams to ensure timely equipment delivery to clients.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience:

    2–3 years of B2B sales experience, specifically within equipment rental, construction, or industrial sectors.
  • Sales Track Record:
    Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing commercial contracts.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    Solid understanding of equipment applications, logistics, and site safety standards.
  • Communication:
    Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Mobility:
    Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively to local job sites and client offices.
