Senior Account Executive, Regional Accounts (French-Speaking)

Position OverviewExpanding new business and renewals in key accounts to meet/exceed financial and business objectives. This job is assigned a sales quota and performance is measured by meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual targets by up‑selling, add‑on sale, and cross‑selling. The position reports to a Territory Sales Leader and works closely with our Inside Sales Team, Autodesk Partner Management, Autodesk Channel Partners, and Autodesk Field Sales.
MainResponsibilities
- Generate new business by creatively expanding existing Territory
- Evaluate and prepare business plans for each assigned account, including customer profile, value messaging, and key steps to execute the account plans
- Develop important and effective relationships within the account, including key executives, and translate customer challenges and opportunities into unique business value
- Ensure the Autodesk team delivers business value to the account, builds and executes an account business plan, builds and grows opportunity pipeline, uses call planning to drive results, and continually improves the move from vendor to trusted advisor
- Manage accounts through the entire sales process as an outside field sales position, physically at customer location for business development, prospecting, specifications, contract negotiations, signing, and post‑sales support
- Deliver an accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecast of business
- Partner collaboratively with channel partners to understand their business, creatively adopt programs to drive new revenue, and expand business partner relationships
- Reach out and provide regular customer feedback to product, industry, and strategic marketing teams to identify product strengths and improvement opportunities
- Negotiate deals and contracts at various levels within the targeted account, focusing on C‑level and enterprise negotiations
- Strong command of French language, both written and spoken
- 8+ years of experience in account management in the SaaS area
- Experience managing a portfolio of customer accounts and supporting sales opportunities
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Ability to analyze data and apply insights to improve account outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate in cross‑functional and/or cross‑regional environments
- Familiarity with co‑sell motions involving technical specialists or emerging product teams
- Experience working with channel partners or partner‑led sales models
- Exposure to CRM systems for pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting
- Experience supporting expansion, upsell, or cross‑sell motions within existing accounts
