Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Team Lead to join our dynamic team in the food delivery industry. The Sales Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets. This role requires a strong leader with excellent sales skills, a deep understanding of the food delivery market, and the ability to drive team performance.

Responsibilities
  • Team Management and Development
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to provide updates, share best practices, and address any challenges.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the sales skills and product knowledge of the sales team.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and support to team members to improve their performance and career development.
  • Sales Planning
    • Collaborate with your line manager to develop and execute effective sales strategies and plans.
    • Drive the strategy, creation, and execution of sales initiatives across your cities to enhance performance.
    • Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team, aligned with overall company objectives.
  • Pipeline Management
    • Oversee the management of the sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of opportunities and consistent performance, and that the team meets velocity targets.
    • Monitor team members' activities and provide guidance on managing their pipelines effectively.
    • Support the team in closing deals and negotiating contracts with partners.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting
    • Track and analyze team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and success.
    • Ensure that team members meet or exceed their sales and commercial targets and KPIs.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve sales strategies and outcomes.
Qualifications
  • BSc/BA in business or a related field is preferred.
  • 4‑5 years of sales & negotiation experience preferably within a high‑growth company.
  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the food delivery or hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • F&B industry experience in the UAE is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Results‑oriented with a strong drive to achieve and exceed goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passionate about the food delivery industry and staying current with market trends.
