Position OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in local payment solutions and high‑risk merchant acquisition
.
This role is focused on merchant‑facing business development. The ideal candidate must already understand how local PSP/payment aggregation works and have existing experience working with industries such as Forex, iGaming, CFD trading, or other high‑risk verticals.
This is not a cross‑border payment sales role

- Develop and manage new merchant relationships in Forex, iGaming, trading, and other high‑risk industries
- Introduce merchants to Teemo Pay’s local payment solutions and settlement capabilities
- Present local payment methods, transaction flows, settlement cycles, and risk‑control logic to merchants
- Coordinate with internal compliance, risk, and technical teams during onboarding and integration
- Follow up on merchant KYC/KYB documentation and onboarding progress
- Understand merchant transaction behaviour and recommend suitable payment solutions by market
- Maintain long‑term relationships with merchants and strategic partners
- Monitor market trends and competitor payment solutions across local payment ecosystems
- Work closely with channel/payment partners to support merchant expansion
- Minimum 2 years of experience in:
Local payment, PSP/payment aggregation, Acquiring, High‑risk payment industry - Must have direct experience handling merchant‑facing BD/sales
- Must understand local payment methods and settlement structures
- Experience with Forex, CFD, iGaming, gambling, or similar high‑risk industries is strongly preferred
- Existing merchant or industry network in Middle East, Cyprus, Europe, or high‑risk fintech industry is a strong advantage
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Able to work independently in a fast‑paced international environment
- Fluent English required
- Chinese or other regional languages are a plus
