Role Overview
You will be a founding member of DeepL’s first Middle East sales team, responsible for establishing a foothold in the region and driving growth of our language solutions. Working closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, you will build and execute a go‑to‑market strategy tailored to the Middle Eastern market.
Responsibilities- Pioneer DeepL’s expansion into the Middle East by establishing presence and introducing our translation service to enterprises.
- Act as an ambassador for DeepL’s products and a trusted expert on customer needs, building long‑term relationships.
- Qualify and convert leads, managing the entire sales cycle and shaping our regional go‑to‑market strategy.
- Meet and exceed monthly activity, pipeline, and revenue goals to build momentum in the new market.
- Build a pipeline of new business from scratch, pursuing upselling and cross‑selling opportunities.
- Respond to inbound prospects and customers, managing opportunities from qualification to close.
- Forecast and track opportunity and customer details including use cases, purchase time frames, and next steps.
- Collaborate with diverse, international teams from SDR to Marketing, providing insights to inform expansion strategy.
- Proven experience in Enterprise SaaS sales in the Middle East, with a strong understanding of regional business culture and market landscape.
- Experience selling into and expanding large Enterprise accounts and winning new logos.
- Consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Strong collaborator who brings cross‑functional teams together to achieve customer outcomes.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, energized by building something new and shaping market entry.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, adapting to evolving market conditions.
- Based in Dubai with the right to work in the UAE.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a strong plus.
