Relationship Manager – SME (Dubai)

The Relationship Manager – SME will play a key role in scaling up Yubi Loans, focusing on acquiring and onboarding SME borrowers in the UAE. The role involves developing and executing business development strategies, building strong relationships with SME clients across multiple sectors, and ensuring they successfully adopt the Yubi Loans platform for their financing needs.
Key Responsibilities- Client Acquisition: Identify and acquire SME and corporate borrowers across various financing products, including Business Loans, POS Merchant Loans, Loan Against Property, Equipment Loans, Working Capital, and Trade Finance. Pitch Yubi’s value proposition and successfully onboard clients onto the Yubi Loans platform.
- Business Development: Conduct proactive business development activities, including outreach, prospecting, and lead generation, to build a robust pipeline of SME and corporate clients.
- Client Engagement: Develop and manage relationships with key decision-makers (CXOs, CFOs, Treasury teams) of target clients. Foster ongoing engagement throughout the sales process to ensure successful onboarding.
- Needs Assessment & Pitching: Understand clients' debt requirements and tailor Yubi’s products and solutions to address their specific financing needs.
- Transaction Handover: Ensure smooth handover of onboarded clients to the internal transaction execution team for deal closure and post‑onboarding support.
- Account Management: Monitor the progress of onboarded clients and ensure they remain active on the platform by tracking transaction statuses and fulfilling financing requirements.
- Feedback Loop: Collect feedback from clients to enhance the onboarding process continuously and share insights with the product and technology teams to improve the customer experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years and up to 12 years of experience in SME and corporate client acquisition, with a strong understanding of enterprise financing products.
- Financial Products Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SME and commercial banking asset products, including Unsecured Business Loans, Merchant POS Loans, Asset-Backed Loans, Loan Against Property, CAPEX Loans, Working Capital, and Trade Finance.
- Sales & Lead Generation: Proven track record of generating leads and achieving B2B sales targets. Experience in cold calling, prospect meetings, and creative strategies for lead generation.
- Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain relationships with high‑level decision‑makers (CXO/CFO/Executive Teams) and manage multiple relationships simultaneously.
- CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot) for data tracking, lead management, and reporting.
- Multilingual Fluency: Additional language skills are a plus, enabling communication across diverse SME sectors.
- Self‑Starter & Entrepreneurial: A results‑driven professional who is proactive, adaptable, and capable of scaling a business rapidly.
- Target‑Driven: Strong track record of meeting sales goals and driving the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.

Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical proposals and complex financial products in a clear, client‑friendly manner. - Educational Background: Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
- Experience in SME lending platforms or fintech solutions.
- Familiarity with the UAE market and regulatory landscape for corporate and SME financing.
