Job Summary:
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team in generating new business and maximizing revenue for our events company. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to grow our client base, increase market share, and ensure client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the events industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand our client portfolio. Identify new business opportunities and markets to drive growth.
- Client Acquisition and Retention: Proactively identify, target, and secure new clients through networking, cold calling, and other sales techniques. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team sales goals. Conduct regular sales training sessions to enhance the team's skills and product knowledge.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Use this information to adjust sales strategies and tactics as needed.
- Proposal Development and Presentation: Oversee the preparation and presentation of customized proposals and pitches that effectively communicate our services and value proposition to prospective clients.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring terms are favorable and meet the company’s financial objectives.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and report on sales performance, including tracking key metrics such as conversion rates, sales pipeline status, and revenue growth. Provide regular updates and insights to senior management.
- Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with the marketing, event planning, and operations teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events, aligning sales efforts with company capabilities and client expectations.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by overseeing the successful delivery of services, addressing any issues that arise, and seeking client feedback for continuous improvement.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the events industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
