Sales & Operations Marketing Manager

The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for providing operational leadership to the Sales Team. It includes defining sales strategy, developing and executing the sales team’s Operational Plan, defining and tracking sales targets, overseeing sales budgets and expenditure, honing sales processes and maintaining the CRM. The incumbent will work alongside the existing Sales Manager, manage external partnerships, support sales activities and provide mentoring to Sales staff.

• Identify, develop, implement and evaluate sales strategy based on knowledge of company objectives, market characteristics, and other factors in conjunction with the existing Sales Manager.
• Develop and execute an Operational Plan that aligns with the Strategic Plan, sales strategy and targets.
• Execute and maintain sales processes and initiatives in accordance with a documented Operational Plan.
• Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs and results against the Operational Plan.
• Work with the Marketing Manager to ensure alignment with marketing strategy, processes and initiatives.
• Ensure that sales operations are conducted within the constraints of the departmental budget.
• Define operating plans, processes and procedures, working with the existing Sales Manager.
• Develop and coordinate sales cycles and methodology including target and reporting methodologies in conjunction with the existing Sales Manager.
• Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs and results.

• MBA in Sales and Marketing
• IT skills:
  Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, MS Excel
• Strong command over oral and written Business English
• Good negotiation, teamwork, communication, financial awareness, planning and organizing skills
• 5+ years experience at the managerial level
• Experience in an FMCG company
• Experience operating the North African market
