• The Senior Electrical Technician is responsible for performing advanced electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on various electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, for the electrical equipment, in plants according to established schedule and maintenance cycle.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment’s (High Voltage / Medium Voltage / Low Voltage) – Switchgears, Circuit Breakers, Transformers, VFD, SS, UPS, Battery Charger, LV Control panels etc, in an efficient manner using tools and instruments and to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Be available on call to work 24x7 service emergency needs of department requirements and Shutdown activity.
• 5+ years of experience in operating and maintaining and troubleshooting electrical equipment’s comprising of High Voltage and Medium Voltage Switchgears, Medium Voltage and Low Voltage – VFDS and SS, UPS and Battery Charger and LV Control Panels.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical theory and systems.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
• MV Experience is mandatory (Maintenance expertise in – Rotating Equipment’s/ Pumps, VFD, Soft starters, Transformers, Circuit brakers & UPS).
• Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
