ELV Technician
The Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ELV Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot Extra Low Voltage systems across residential, commercial, or industrial properties. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarms, structured cabling, and intercoms, ensuring reliable performance and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities- Install, configure, and maintain ELV systems including CCTV surveillance, access control systems, fire alarm and smoke detection systems, structured cabling and data networks, and intercom and public address systems
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve faults in ELV systems efficiently
- Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system schematics
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other technicians
- Ensure installations comply with local regulations and safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and system configurations
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients or end-users
- Participate in site surveys and assist in system design and planning
- Proven experience as an ELV Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of ELV systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Familiarity with tools and testing equipment used in ELV installations
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Diploma or certification in Electrical, Electronics, or related field
- Fluent in English;
Arabic is a plus - Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
