Kitchen Equipment Technician

Role & responsibilities

A candidate must be aware of Troubleshooting and maintenance of

Hot Equipment
:

- Combi oven, cooking range, grills, fryers mixer grinders, tilting pan, tabletop grills, slicer machine, Heavy duty rotary and Deck oven, Dishwasher, pizza oven, hi speed oven etc.

Cold Equipment
:

- Chillers, Freezers, Blast chiller/freezers, Ice cream machines, Deep freezers, Cold room, Super freezers etc.

• Ability to check the wiring diagrams for easy diagnosis.
• Troubleshooting and fixing equipment issues, diagnosing problems, and performing repairs on-site or in a workshop
• Performing routine maintenance, including cleaning, inspecting, and testing equipment to prevent breakdowns
• Ability to check the spare parts list and identify the required spare parts.
• Ensuring equipment safety and efficiency, meeting health and safety standards
• Responding to service calls, providing excellent customer service.
• Maintaining accurate records of service activities and repairs
• Staying up to date with new technologies and equipment developments
• Time management and organization, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple service calls
• Customer service skills, communicating effectively with clients and providing excellent service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands of the job (e.g., lifting, bending, working in tight spaces)
• Electrical and mechanical basic knowledge.
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Attention to detail and quality control
• Safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Having training certification with OEM is a preferred qualification.
