The Welder is responsible for performing high-quality welding works on carbon steel and stainless steel components using TIG and ARC welding processes. The role requires expertise in 6G / 6GR welding positions, strict adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work in industrial and project-based environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out TIG and ARC welding works on Carbon Steel (CS) and Stainless Steel (SS) materials.
Perform welding in 6G and 6GR positions as per approved welding procedures.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and specifications accurately.
Ensure weld quality meets project requirements, codes, and inspection standards.
Prepare materials, joints, and equipment prior to welding operations.
Conduct visual inspection of welds and rectify defects when required.
Follow safety procedures, PPE usage, and workplace discipline at all times.
Coordinate with supervisors, fitters, and QA/QC teams to meet project timelines.
Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition.
Support fabrication, maintenance, and shutdown activities as assigned.
Essential QualificationsValid 6G / 6GR welding certification preferred.
Hands-on experience in TIG and ARC welding processes

Expertise in positional welding (6G / 6GR).
