Overview

The HVAC Technician 04F25 is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires hands-on experience and a strong understanding of electrical services, refrigerants, and HVAC systems' operational protocols. The ideal candidate will possess a balance of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and customer service orientation, ensuring effective service delivery while maintaining high safety standards. Working under minimal supervision, the HVAC Technician must efficiently manage time and resources to achieve both short-term and long-term company objectives.

This position is pivotal in ensuring the optimal functionality of HVAC systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings, contributing to the comfort and satisfaction of the clients served.

• Install new HVAC systems, ensuring all components are correctly connected and operational.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to prevent malfunctions.
• Diagnose HVAC system issues accurately and implement timely repairs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for safety and efficiency during all operations.
• Inspect and troubleshoot system components including electrical and mechanical failures.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable HVAC solutions.
• Keep detailed records of service calls and maintenance actions using company software.
• Assist in training junior technicians to enhance team productivity and skills.
• Monitor inventory levels and report parts and materials needs to the supervisor.
• Stay updated with industry trends and new HVAC technologies for continuous improvement.
• Ensure proper disposal and recycling of refrigerants following environmental protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer queries and concerns professionally.

• High school diploma or equivalent; further technical training is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC technician or similar role.
• Valid license or certification to practice as an HVAC technician.
• Demonstrated expertise in using HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment efficiently.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including mechanical and electrical aspects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction.
