• Install and test new elevator, escalator, and moving walkway systems in buildings.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance for elevator safety and reliability.

• Collaborate with construction teams to integrate elevator systems during building development.
• Ensure compliance with local and national safety regulations and standards.
• Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Replace or upgrade outdated elevator components to enhance performance and safety.
• Provide expert advice to clients regarding elevator usage and maintenance practices.
• Perform load and safety testing to verify elevator operability and reliability.
• Educate building personnel on the proper operation of elevator systems.
• Continuously update knowledge of emerging technologies and advancements in elevator systems.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or relevant certification is preferred.
• Proven experience as an elevator technician or similar mechanical role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic system operations.
• Proficiency with tools and equipment specific to elevator repair and maintenance.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail in complex systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team effectively.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined or restricted spaces.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for on‑site service calls.
