Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced EV Charger Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of EV chargers across various locations in the UAE. This role requires a strong background in electrical or electromechanical fields, familiarity with local regulations (DEWA and ADDC), and a hands‑on approach to ensuring the highest standards of service.

• Installation
  • Install and commission EV chargers at designated sites, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
  • Conduct site assessments and evaluate the electrical systems of the property, and conduct electrical panel load assessment.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting
  • Perform regular maintenance and inspections of EV chargers to ensure their optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Compliance
  • Ensure all installations and maintenance activities comply with DEWA, ADDC, and other local regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with company procedures.
• Customer Support
  • Provide on-site support to customers, addressing any technical queries or issues related to the EV charging equipment.
  • Educate customers on the proper use and safety protocols of the installed chargers.

• Educational Background
  • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of Experience working in the UAE in MEP (electrical) or similar field, with a strong understanding of local regulations (DEWA, ADDC).
• Skills
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
  • Ability to design line diagrams, hands‑on experience with AutoCAD.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English;
    Arabic is a plus.
• Other Requirements
  • Valid UAE driving license.
  • Own vehicle is preferred.
