Supports interior and exteriormaintenanceactivities,includingdoors,windows,cabinetry,and fixtures,while ensuring compliance with safety, infection control, and healthcare facility standards. Supports work order execution and contributes to efficient Facilities Management operations.

• Performs skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work involving repair, alteration, fabrication,andinstallationofwoodenandrelatedstructureswithinhospitalfacilities.
• Carries out carpentry repairs and replacements for interior and exterior areas, includingdoors,windowsills,frames,cabinets,drawers,partitions,and fixtures.
• Carries out masonry works, marble polishing, repairs, grouting, wall painting, etc. across hospital facilities.
• Ensurecompliancewithhospitalsafetyprocedures,infectioncontrolrequirements, and Facilities Management standards during all carpentry activities.
• Supportslocksmith-related tasks,including installation,repair,andreplacementof door locks and basic key control as assigned.
• Completesassignedworkordersaccuratelyandpromptlyinaccordancewith approved schedules.
• Estimatesbasicmaterialandtimerequirementsforassignedcarpentryworksand reports requirements to the supervisor.
• Coordinateswithothermaintenancetrades,includingcivil,electrical,and mechanical teams, to support integrated maintenance activities.
• Assistsinmovingfurniture,fixtures,andequipmentasrequiredtofacilitate carpentry works.
• Identifiesopportunitiesforimprovementandsuggestsenhancedmaterials, methods, or techniques to improve workmanship and efficiency.
• Implementssustainablepracticesandenvironmentallyresponsiblemethodsin Facilities Management operations where applicable.

  Certificatewithaminimumoffive(5) yearsofexperienceinthe civil maintenance works
• Minimumoftwo(2) yearsofexperienceinahealthcareorganization’smaintenance department or similar institution.
• Knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, techniques, and finishing methods.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance workflows.
• Skills in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Skills in reading and interpreting basic engineering or maintenance drawings.
• Skills in basic computer applications for work orders and documentation.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary facilities team.
• Ability to maintain accuracy, attention to detail, and workmanship quality.
