Following the completion and successful commissioning of the approved swimming pool filtration pump modification works, several operational defects and maintenance issues were identified during system inspection and testing. The observations include leakage, abnormal noise, defective bearings, mechanical seal failures, and impeller damage in Swimming Pool Filtration Pumps No. 1 and No. 2. Additionally, a crack and leakage were identified in the multiport valve of Sand Filter No.
2. Civil-related defects were also observed, including missing pool tiles, deteriorated grouting, damaged overflow channel stones, and broken deck step tiles. These issues are primarily attributed to prolonged operation, aging, wear and tear, continuous exposure to water pressure, pool chemicals, and environmental conditions. Corrective repair and replacement works are recommended to restore safe and efficient operation of the swimming pool system.

- Repair Swimming Pool Filtration Pump No. 1 by replacing defective bearings, mechanical seal, and other necessary damaged components.
- Repair Swimming Pool Filtration Pump No. 2 including replacement of bearings, mechanical seal, damaged impeller, and pump body as required.
- Replace damaged multiport valve of Swimming Pool Sand Filter No. 2 and inspect associated fittings and connections for leakage.
- Supply and install matching swimming pool tiles in missing areas.
- Remove damaged grout and carry out regrouting works in affected swimming pool areas.
- Replace damaged and cracked overflow channel stones.
- Remove and replace damaged swimming pool deck step tiles with matching materials.
- Conduct testing, inspection, and commissioning after completion of all repair works to ensure proper system functionality.
