As an Electrician at GMG, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to ensure the smooth functioning of facilities and equipment. You’ll work closely with other technical teams to resolve electrical issues promptly and ensure compliance with safety standards.

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate testing devices.
• Ensure all work complies with UAE electrical codes and company safety regulations.
• Assist in new electrical installations for retail stores, warehouses, and offices.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and spare parts usage.
• Respond to emergency electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.

To qualify for the Electrician role at GMG, you should meet the following criteria:

• Education: Diploma/ITI Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant work experience as an electrician in commercial, retail, or industrial settings.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and electrical blueprints.
• Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
• Language:
  Basic communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
• Other:
  Must be physically fit and willing to work in shifts if required.

• Salary Range: AED 2,500 – AED 4,000 per month (depending on qualifications and experience).
