Water Aerate Technician

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Technician to oversee the maintenance of multiple properties, including pools, lakes, ponds, and other water features. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting regular maintenance tasks on a daily or weekly basis, as well as performing necessary repair work to ensure the proper functioning of these aquatic environments. Building and maintaining positive relationships with our clients will also be vital to this position.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in preserving the quality of lakes, ponds, and waterways, employing high-quality materials, specialized equipment, and innovative maintenance techniques. Additionally, installing pond aerators and fountains, as well as identifying and addressing pond algae issues, will be essential tasks, all while delivering exceptional customer service.

Perform regular inspections on all water features.
Maintain cleanliness of skimmer and pump lint baskets, ensuring pump rooms are organized.
Remove debris from water surfaces.
Monitor water levels in systems.
Schedule bi-weekly robotic vacuuming for small/large pools.
Provide maintenance services for pools, ponds, fountains, streams, etc.
Monitor and adjust pool chemical levels as necessary.
Conduct routine checks on maintenance equipment, diagnosing and addressing mechanical issues.
Replace chemical drums in the storage area as required.
Ensure optimal pump performance, backwashing when needed, and repairing fittings and injection points as necessary.
Report any mechanical problems to management promptly.
Communicate maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor/foreman

Essential Skills and

Qualifications:

Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or relevant Landscape Certification.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency in Basic English (Level 3 – Reading & Writing).
Fundamental understanding of Health and Safety protocols.
Ability to submit precise maintenance reports, expense reports, timesheets, and other essential paperwork daily.
Basic comprehension of the functionality of equipment components and standard operating values.

Minimum Experience:

3-5 years of experience in the GCC region as a water aerator for pools and lakes.
Preferably, I have prior experience working with pool and lake cleaning and maintenance service providers or contractors.
