Maintenance
Install, maintain and repair electrical systems, equipment and components in the plant workshop, adhering to safety guidelines and standards. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the optimal functioning of electrical systems.
TroubleshootingDiagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in a variety of plant equipment, including control panels, motors and sensors of RS-ECH-ITV and other MEWS equipment. Utilize testing equipment and diagnostic tools to identify and address electrical problems promptly.
Equipment Upgrades and ModificationsParticipate in the planning and execution of electrical upgrades, modifications and retrofitting projects. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement improvements and ensure compatibility with existing systems.
Supervision and TrainingProvide leadership and guidance to electrical technicians class‑2 and apprentices within the plant workshop. Conduct training sessions to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of the electrical maintenance team.
Safety ComplianceEnforce and promote safety protocols and procedures within the workshop, ensuring a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety inspections and participate in safety meetings.
DocumentationMaintain accurate records of all electrical maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections and equipment documentation. Update and review electrical drawings, schematics and documentation as needed. Collaborate with other maintenance professionals, including mechanical technicians and engineers, to optimize plant equipment performance.
Technical SupportProvide technical support to other departments, addressing electrical‑related concerns.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within a plant or industrial setting.
- In‑depth knowledge of electrical systems, circuits and components, with a focus on plant equipment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
