ELV Technician

Responsibilities

• Install security system components, units, and printed circuit boards following instructions from the Project Engineer (e.g., cameras, motion detectors, electronic locks, etc.).
• Install structured cabling for various systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, etc.).
• Install and service various intrusion, CCTV, and access control systems in both commercial and high‑end residential environments.
• Travel to various customer sites performing installation and service work.
• Work independently as well as in group settings; be a highly motivated self‑starter, well organized and able to multi‑task.
• Use and test electronic equipment for reading voltage (e.g., digital multimeter).
• Use hand tools and small power tools (e.g., drilling machines, screwdrivers, cutters).
• Read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
• Fabricate parts and cables to ensure a successful installation.
• Work closely with the Project Engineer.
• Adhere to common safety practices.

• 3–5 years’ experience in security services companies.
• Prior education, training, or knowledge of basic electronics and security systems (e.g., IP surveillance, intrusion detection, access control, electronic power supplies).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
• Very good command of English.
